Aloo Tikki

If you have potatoes what more do you need?

A quick snack. Crowd pleaser.


Aloo Tikki





Ingredients:

Potato 1cup, mashed

Bread slices 3

Onion 1, mince

Lemon ½, juice

Ginger ¼ tsp

Gr. Chilli 2, mince

Salt to taste

Coriander leaves 4 Tbsp, minced

Oil for deep frying


Method:

Dry grind the bread slices.

Mix mashed potato with onion, ginger, lemon juice, seasoning and coriander.

Divide into even sized balls.

Shape into tikki’s and deep fry in hot oil. Drain on absorbent paper.


vTo Serve: Serve hot with sweet chutney and green chutney.
