Aloo Capsicum

Potatoes are an all-time favorite food. They do contain enough nutrition in them. The cooking method considerably impacts the nutrient quotient.

Capsicums come in various colors, and are very nutritive. They speed up the metabolism and help in burning calories.

Stir fry potatoes with capsicums for a healthy side-dish.


Aloo Capsicum



Ingredients:

3 Potatoes

2 Capsicums

2 Tbsp Oil

½ tsp Cumin seeds

¼ tsp Turmeric powder

1 tsp Chilli powder

½ tsp Garam masala powder

Salt to taste

4 tsp Gram Flour (Besan)

2 Tbsp Coriander leaves


Method:

Cut potatoes and capsicum into small cubes.

Heat oil and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add potatoes and stir fry for 2 minutes and then add turmeric powder and salt to taste. Sauté until half cooked.

Add capsicums and sauté. Add chilli powder and garam masala powder.

Sauté until cooked. Add the gram flour and stir fry until it is roasted and it coats the vegetables.

Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
