Use your favourite combination of fruits and dry fruits.
Ingredients:
Millet Flakes - 1 cup
Hot Milk - 3/4 cup
Mixed fresh fruits - 1/2 cup (pineapple, apple, orange, pomegranate)
Dry fruits - 4 Tbsp (figs, raisins, dates)
Honey - 2-3 Tbsp
Cardamom - 1/4 tsp
Cashew nuts - 2 Tbsp
Pistachios - 6, sliced (optional)
Method:
Wash and drain the millet flakes.
Pour just enough hot milk to cover the flakes.
Keep aside until the liquid is absorbed and the flakes are dry.
Cube the fruits and mix honey and dry fruits into it.
Sprinkle cardamom powder over the soaked flakes. Mix in the fruit mixture.
Taste for sweetness and add more honey or sugar to taste.
Keep aside for 5 minutes for flavours to soak in.
Garnish with pomegranate pearls, roasted cashew nuts and sliced pistachios.
Note: Toasted coconut can also be added.
