Ingredients:
Raw Banana - 2
Small Onions - 1/2 cup, sliced
Garlic - 4 flakes
Garlic - 4 flakes
Dry Red Chillies - 4
Green Chillies - 2
Green Chillies - 2
Khus Khus - 2 Tbsp
Saunf - 2 Tbsp
Saunf - 2 Tbsp
Fried Gram (Pottukadalai) - 3 Tbsp
Cashew nuts - 4 to 5
Coconut - 1/2 cup (slightly lesser)
Turmerric Powder - 1/4 tsp
Salt to taste
Coconut - 1/2 cup (slightly lesser)
Turmerric Powder - 1/4 tsp
Salt to taste
Method:
Peel and roughly chop the Raw Banana.
Heat oil in a shallow pan and saute all the ingredients (except coconut) over a slow flame until the raw banana's are cooked partially. Add coconut and saute for a minute. Remove from heat and cool.
The mixture should be very dry.
Grind to a smooth paste.
Divide into even sized balls and seep fry in hot oil.Serve with Tomato Ketchup or Green Chutney.
