Potato - 2
Saunf - 1/4 tsp
Cinnamon - 1 small piece
Salt to taste
Daliya (Pottukadalai) - 1 Tbsp
Cinnamon - 1 stick
Khus Khus - 1 Tbsp
Cashew nuts - 4
Coconut - 1/2 cup
Slice the onions and potatoes into thin strips.
Grind all the masala ingredients together to a smooth paste with little water.
Heat oil and add the onions. Saute until onions turn pink. Then add the potatoes.
Saute for 2 minutes. Add the tomatoes, salt and masala paste.
Stir cook over a medium flame until well blended.
Add water and simmer cook until the gravy thickens.
Serve hot with Idli / Dosa.
