Green Tea and Pistachio Popsicle

And here is my entry for this months Magic Mingle # 15 - Green Tea and Pistachio Pop(sicle)s. At first I was wondering what to do with these two ingredients. I went back in time to my school days when we would enjoy a simple treat - Kuchi Ice / Pal Ice. I used our ice trays to set these bite sized popsicles.

Ingredients:
Green Tea bags - 3
Hot Water - 3/4 cup
Milk - 1 cup
Pistachios - 2 tablespoon
Sugar to taste

Instructions:
Dissolve 2 teaspoons sugar in hot water.
Drop the tea bags into the cup. Cover and keep asid to infuse.
Discard the tea bags and use the tea.
Meanwhile, bring the milk to a boil and simmer.
Add sugar to taste and pistachios in it. Cover and keep aside to cool.
Grind to a smooth paste.
Use a popsicle maker or Ice cube trays as I did to make these popsicles.
I first made a layer of the Tea mix, allowed it to set before topping up with the milk mixture.
Freeze overnight to set well
