Papaya Paradise - Vegan
I was never a big fan Papaya. Then I could bear to eat it with a dash of Lemon juice. Yum. Now I actively advocate eating just Papaya's for dinner for a glowing skin. Yes. it works.
And for the times you want to indulge, here is a wonderful smoothie with just a few cubes of Papaya.
Papaya - 1/4 cup
Coconut Milk - 1 cup
Sugar - to taste
Elaichi Powder - 1 pinch
Choose ripe papaya. Peel, and remove seeds and then cube them.
Blend the cubes of papaya with half the coconut milk, elaichi and sugar to taste.
Then, add in the remaining coconut milk and Ice cubes and blend well.
Serve at once.
I used about 3 tablespoons of chopped coconut and 1 cup of warm water to extract coconut milk.
You can also try a juice with papaya, water and lemon juice. Sweeten to taste.
